About Nathalie

Nathalie attended South Hunsley School in Melton before graduating with a 2:1 in Jurisprudence at Oxford University. She then went on to complete her Legal Practice Course in Nottingham.

Nathalie has previously worked in London at the Law Commission and Pricewaterhouse Coopers before returning to Hull. She undertook her training at Myer Wolff solicitors, where she went on to become Head of Litigation and Employment before joining Gosschalks in 2014.

“My number one piece of advice for employers is to keep good documentary evidence, especially in relation to situations where they may need to take action in the future. Evidence is so important in dismissal cases where the burden of proof lies with the employer, and failure to properly prove the reasons for dismissal decisions risks bigger costs and pay-outs.”

Nathalie is an experienced litigator and employment solicitor. She has undertaken advocacy at the Employment Tribunal and County Court in respect of employment disputes.

Nathalie is an experienced employment solicitor and litigator. She has undertaken advocacy at the Employment Tribunal and County Court in respect of employment disputes.

Her focus is on specialist disputes between employers and employees that are undertaken at the County Court, such as breach of covenants, breach of confidentiality or negligence claims. She has also undertaken a wide range of cases for Respondents and Claimants in respect of dismissal, redundancy, discrimination and whistleblowing claims.

“My role is to sort the problem and keep the litigation process as straightforward as possible. Communication is the key with clients, and knowing that I am a phone call away can provide the reassurance and answers needed by the client.”

Nathalie has dealt with high value claims and has appeared in the media on several occasions in relation to these.
