Originally from Surrey, Harriet ventured ‘up north’ in 2009 where she undertook her undergraduate degree in Biomedical Sciences at the University of Hull, graduating in 2012.
Falling in love with Yorkshire, Harriet decided to stay here for good and undertook the Graduate Diploma in Law at the College of Law in York which she completed in 2013, with a Commendation.
Harriet then spent several years working as a paralegal at law firms in both Leeds and York before commencing the Legal Practice Course at BPP University in Leeds which she completed in 2017, with a Distinction.
Following this, Harriet joined another Hull based firm where she initially worked as a paralegal in the Property team. She then completed her period of recognised training there in January 2020 qualifying as a solicitor into the litigation department.
Harriet joined Gosschalks in September 2024 and deals with a variety of commercial dispute resolution matters with a focus on commercial property litigation.
Her analytical skills and creative approach to problem solving along with her commercial awareness and pragmatic approach enable her to achieve the best possible outcome for clients.
Outside of work Harriet loves cheering on her two little boys at the side of the rugby pitch and walking in the dales with her baby girl in her carrier! Harriet also enjoys cooking with her husband and is a keen runner often taking part in 10K and half marathons.
